FLEXIBLE STONE

Slate-Lite is an innovative real stone veneer that consists of a thin 100% natural stone layer and a support backing reinforced with fiberglass or cotton.

Slate-Lite is created with a revolutionary method of some of the world‘s most beautiful stone blocks.

We developed a method to attain many very thin stone slabs from these massive blocks. Each sheet is one of a kind and is manufactured by hand in more than 12 processing steps.

Despite its lightness, it retains the feel and visual appearance of a solid stone slab. Slate-Lite is only about 1,5 mm thin and therefore extremely light and even flexible!

Regardless if used for producing furniture, a modern wall decoration or as a floor covering – even in your shower and as a beautiful piece of art with an incredible light effect: Slate-Lite has almost no limits!

 PROCESSING TOOLS

  • Cutting with hard-metal tipped circular saw, skill saw (diamond blade)

  • Flexibility of material can be increased by applying heat
    (using heat-gun around 400°C)

Flexible Stone is a wall and floor cover made of real natural stone.

Slate-Lite is an innovative real stone veneer that consists of a thin natural stone layer and a support backing reinforced with fiberglass or cotton.

The technological advancement of literally peeling the skin of the natural rock and producing it commercially has given the edge to this product comprehensively. Stone is drawn onto a solid carrier film in thin layers. Even larger stone veneers are extremely lightweight and can be installed on almost any surface. This opens up new, unlimited opportunities to create the ambiance of natural stone on drywall, wood, metal, fiberglass, ceramic and concrete.


Flexible Stone is suitable for all interior and exterior walls and floors. The lightweight and yet stable veneers can be installed quickly and easily by a specialist. After an initial impregnation the natural stone can be cleaned and maintained in a single pass.

ECO - GREEN

Our environmental promise:

The emission rates on the transport routes are much lower with Slate-Lite than with conventional stone slabs, which leads to a significantly more positive ecological balance.

A sheet of Slate-Lite produces approx. 95% less CO2 than a conventional thick stone slab during transport!

In addition, the manufacturing process developed by us also conserves natural resources in the quarries: From the stone material of a single conventional stone slab of 2 cm, we produce 100 – 300 Slate-Lite slabs, depending on the decor!

Of course, we are also relying more and more on recyclable solutions for our packaging, so that in recent years we have already been able to reduce the proportion of plastic waste many times over. And of course we will continue to work on this path in the future!

Slate-Lite

Slate-Lite is the allrounder out of our stone veneers:

Thanks to its fiberglass backing this real stone décor with 100% natural stone surface is extremely robust and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Slate-Lite is extremely light and has a total thickness of only 1.0-2.5 mm.

You can use the stone veneers for interior and exterior wall cladding, floors or as a tile backsplash in your kitchen. Even unusuall living environments made of stone in wet areas such as bathrooms or showers can be created with Slate-Lite !

UltraThin eco+

UltraThin eco+ is the most flexible stone veneer in our range.

A 3D flexibility is achieved through a cottonmesh based backing material. Still UltraThin eco+ has a 100% natural stone surface!
Through it’s low CO2 emition transport because of its’ light weight and minimal use of stone on the surface, UltraThin eco+ is especially ecologically friendly.

The natural fiber matt on the back of UltraThin eco+ allows for simple processing and opens further possibilities for the Interior, in furniture manufacturing or creative areas.
With UltraThin eco+ even complex forms and designs can be mastered without a hastle!

The processing is a very unique factor about UltraThin eco+ : dispite the natural stone surface UltraThin eco+ can be cut with a scissors or carpetknife!

Translucent stone is possible!

Our productline Translucent, like all stone veneers from Slate-Lite, has a 100% natural stone surface with low weight and a total thickness of just around 1.5mm. What is special about Translucent: The transparent backing material used on the backing of the stone sheet.

This translucent backing creates unique light effects with a light source behind the stone sheet, allowing for extraordinary backlit objects to be created.

Depending on the type of light used, different effects can be achieved: You can use cold, warm or even colored light to design your individual lighting objecy made of stone.

Artdecors 

Artdecors Lite: Surfaces with metal finish or concrete optic

The Artdecors with metalic finish are extremely thin stone veneers with a final coat of metal pigmented paint.

The Artdecors in concrete lok are a combination of fiberglass and colored resin on the front.

In addition to the low oberall weight, you benefit from the simple processing and flexibility of the material in both versions.

Our Artdecors are suitable for a wide range of indoor applications such as modern wall design and unusual furniture construction.
